Dear neighbor,

Please allow me to thank you for the privilege in representing your voice in the 5th seat on the floor of the Florida House of Representatives. Because of population differences throughout our state, District # 5, a defined boundary made up by citizens living in parts of Okaloosa, Walton and Jackson Counties, all of Holmes and Washington , spans across an area over 100 miles. It is an honor to share your concerns at our state’s Capitol in Tallahassee.

I pledge to work and to serve the people of Northwest Florida with sincerity and honesty, as public servants should… so all may have a chance to prosperously live, work and enjoy our lives in this special area of Florida that we call home.

I believe…

	The government should be least intrusive in our lives.
	We the people should hold more personal freedoms.
	Residents should not be taxed out of prosperity.
	Small businesses should be allowed to prosper in a climate where over- regulation and taxation does not stifle local and state economies.
	Family values should take precedence.
	Property taxes need to be further reduced.
	(With no apologies) God should never be removed from the Pledge of Allegiance when spoken in our schools or removed from / within government buildings.
	In the 2nd Amendment
	Sufficient and expanded transportation and utility infrastructure is necessary.
	Immigration reform is necessary.
	Prayer should be allowed in schools.
	In access to quality, affordable healthcare.
	In working for available and affordable property insurance.
	In planning for adequate water and precious natural resource needs.
	Floridians deserve a quality food supply.
